Towards a Framework for Systematically Analysing Collaborative Error
نویسندگان
چکیده
One of the main difficulties in creating a model-based, predictive error analysis method for collaborative work is establishing a useful perspective with which to describe collaborative work and failure systematically. This paper addresses the need for a systematic approach to analysing possible failures of collaborative work in order to create such a method. An iterative approach to the design of the error analysis method has been taken. This paper first discusses the original approach taken to question development for an error analysis of collaborative work, and then focuses on the creation of an improved approach to question development using the results of an evaluation of the original approach as a guide. The new approach involves enhancing the model of collaboration used, breaking collaboration into three aspects (coordination, cooperation and co-construction) and creating a framework to structure a systematic examination of collaboration in terms of cognitive stage relationships.

Semi-parametric Quantile Regression for Analysing Continuous Longitudinal Responses
Recently, quantile regression (QR) models are often applied for longitudinal data analysis. When the distribution of responses seems to be skew and asymmetric due to outliers and heavy-tails, QR models may work suitably. In this paper, a semi-parametric quantile regression model is developed for analysing continuous longitudinal responses. The error term's distribution is assumed to be Asymmetr...
متن کاملAn Integrated Approach for Analysing and Assessing the Performance of Virtual Learning Groups
Collaborative distance learning involves a variety of elements and factors that have to be considered and measured in order to analyse and assess group and individual performance more effectively and objectively. This paper presents an approach that integrates qualitative, social network analysis (SNA) and quantitative techniques for evaluating online collaborative learning interactions. Integr...
متن کاملIntersectoral Planning for Public Health: Dilemmas and Challenges
Background Intersectoral action is often presented as essential in the promotion of population health and health equity. In Norway, national public health policies are based on the Health in All Policies (HiAP) approach that promotes whole-of-government responsibility. As part of the promotion of this intersectoral responsibility, p...
متن کاملA Bayesian Nominal Regression Model with Random Effects for Analysing Tehran Labor Force Survey Data
Large survey data are often accompanied by sampling weights that reflect the inequality probabilities for selecting samples in complex sampling. Sampling weights act as an expansion factor that, by scaling the subjects, turns the sample into a representative of the community. The quasi-maximum likelihood method is one of the approaches for considering sampling weights in the frequentist framewo...
متن کاملThe CRUSOE Framework: A Holistic Approach to Analysing Prerequisites for Continuous Software Engineering
Continuous software engineering (CSE) is used for customer experiments and repetitive integrated processes within and between business planning and software development. First, this paper defines a new framework, called CRUSOE, for analysing CSE prerequisites. The framework allows for a more precise analysis of the interrelations and estimation of the changes that are prerequisites for moving f...
